I exported the polypainted model polypainted using spotlight as a VRML file using the 3D Print Exporter plugin and made sure color was turned on in advanced options. Repeat this process until you reach the resolution of your original but with added benefit of subdivision levels. Polypaint is just a vertex-color property, and as far as I know vertex-colors are not a standard part of the OBJ file format. That is next. |

Instead of repainting a new, larger texture map, you can simply transfer the existing surface painting to a new, larger map, with no rework necessary. The object is 1. Thanks for responding Cyrid, I will read as much as I can about what xnormmal is as i can, maybe something will click. If the result of either looks like a mess when on the model itself, this is most likely due to how zbrush flips the UVs vertically. Duplicate your model, with your new version turn on dynamesh at a lower resolution than you were using before, project this onto your high resolution mesh. |
